GROWING POPULATION OF ACTIVE SENIORS “An Aging World,” a report commissioned by the National Institute on Aging and produced by the U.S. Census Bureau, notes that America’s 65+ population is projected to nearly double over the next three decades and will reach 88 million by 2050. With a longer-living generation of beloved family members approaching their golden years, the issue of maintaining quality of life even for active seniors has become a growing challenge. While caregivers face concerns about their loved one’s safety, the MPERS (Mobile Personal Emergency Response Systems) market is stepping up to the challenge. We designed the facility to accommodate 50% increase in workstations and monitored accounts without the need of redesign or capital expense.
